In 2009 Brad was told by 2 different specialists that he only had 12 months to live due to a Neuromuscular condition that has caused severe muscle atrophy throughout his body and limited his motor skills so much he could not even hold a pen or even walk properly… Fortunately he has proven the original prognosis wrong and continues to prove it wrong on a daily basis. He is able to manage this condition daily himself and is considered a "Medical Anomaly" ! He has a daily regime that starts from the moment he wakes, he does a series of neural and then physical exercises to make sure his body is firing and then once he's moving he does what he calls some "maintenance exercise" All this every day just to keep his body moving and help stave off the muscle atrophy that he is constantly keeping on top of! Remember this is just to be able to do the simple things that most of us take for granted… He surfs, he climbs mountains and that's just in a average weeks and he even does crazy obstacle courses like Tough Mudder! Just to make things interesting he Is totally blind in one eye and almost lost the other one in an accident from back in 1987 when he was only 17 - This is a moment that changed his life forever and set him unbeknown on his future path as a magician.
